ROGER CHI - MANAGING PARTNER

I am a Partner at 1291 Group Asia, where I drive business development for high-net-worth (HNW) families across Asia and the Middle East. Holding an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (2004) and a Bachelor of Science from UC Berkeley (1997), I bring a robust analytical foundation and strong leadership expertise to my role.

With over 15 years of experience advising prominent families, I specialize in cross-border investments, succession planning, taxation, family governance, and private equity. Prior to 1291 Group, I served as a Partner at Candareen Capital, leading family office advisory services, and as a Senior Advisor to Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum. I began my career as a venture capitalist at Brainrush Ventures in the San Francisco Bay Area and later worked with Monitor Company, a leading strategic consulting firm. A respected advisor, I am recognized for delivering tailored wealth management and investment strategies in a global context.
